Why I have chosen to work at a pastoral counseling center |
My desire to be therapist at BPCC began as a result of the Clinical Pastoral Education I received at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. I have always been attracted to Pastoral counseling, Jungian Psychology and the bitter sweetness of grief therapy. Meeting with people in a counseling session is intimate; it is an important time of processing ideas, thoughts, behaviors, and life's manifestations.
I believe my work is to facilitate one's capacity to access their divine wisdom or True Self. To me, the richness of therapy lies at a spiritual level as opposed to mainstream counseling techniques. |
